Sustamid 66, Nylon 66 Rod and Sheet

Sustamid 66 Nylon Product Description:

Sustamid 66 Rod and Sheet are materials with a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than Sustamid 6. Sustamid 66 also has a better creep resistance but its impact strength and mechanical damping ability are reduced. Sustamid 66 Well suited for machining on automatic lathes.

Key Features and Benefits of Sustamid 66SA:

  • High mechanical strength
  • Good fatigue resistance
  • High mechanical damping ability
  • Good sliding properties
  • Excellent wear resistance

Sustamid 66 Rod and Sheet Applications:

Sustamid 66 is used for a wide range of industrial components both for Original Equipment Manufacture and maintenance. Some examples: sleeve and slide bearings, wear pads, support and guide wheels, conveyor rollers, tension rollers, tension rollers, sleeves for wheels and rollers, pulleys and pulley linings, cams, buffer block, hammer heads, scrapers, gear wheels, sprockets, seal-rings, feed screws, starwheels, cutting and chopping boards, insulators, etc.
