The Dotmar Advantage

fluoro3

Dotmar Fluoropolymers go beyond material supply. We deliver complete solutions engineered to perform — extending service life, reducing downtime, and optimising performance in the toughest environments.

  • End-to-End Capability – from resin compounding, compression moulding to delivery of complete engineering solutions.
  • Local Production – faster lead times and no offshore MOQs.
  • Expanded Range – PTFE, PEEK, and other fluoropolymer solutions.
  • Customer Focus – engineers supporting material selection and design.
  • Proven Track Record – trusted across chemical, mining, food, and manufacturing.

ISCOMP COMPOUNDED PTFE & PEEK RESINS

Isocomp, Dotmar’s fluoropolymer compounding division, is one of the few facilities in the Southern Hemisphere with the capability to custom-blend PTFE and PEEK resins in-house.

With access to over 600 formulations, our team can fine-tune properties such as low friction for dynamic seals, high wear resistance for bearing pads, chemical inertness for corrosive media, or thermal stability for extreme temperature service.

  • Performance tuning – adjust friction, wear, chemical resistance, or thermal stability for exact end-use demands.
  • Flexibility – supply from 2kg prototype samples through to 75kg+ production runs, without offshore lead times or MOQs.
  • Quality assurance – ISO 9001 processes and full batch traceability for consistent and repeatable results
  • Application focus – resins designed for seals, bearing pads, linings, and components used in corrosive or high-temperature environments.

ISOCOMP FILLER COMPOUNDS

Fillers we blend into PTFE to tune performance for your application.

Glass Fiber
Reduces creep and deformation under load, is chemically inert except in HF and strong bases, and improves wear and stiffness.
Stainless Steel (metallic)
Provides good creep and load resistance, is conductive, and is wear resistant at medium speeds.
Carbon (powder)
Increases hardness, improves thermal conductivity, reduces creep, enhances wear and lubricity, and is electrically conductive.
Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS₂)
Increases hardness and stiffness, lowers friction, and improves load-carrying ability.
EG Carbon (expanded graphite)
Similar to carbon powder with added UV resistance, and boosts hardness, wear, and conductivity.
Calcium Fluoride
Provides an alternative to glass where chemical attack is a risk and is stable under harsh chemicals.
Bronze (metallic)
Increases creep resistance, raises thermal and electrical conductivity, and withstands high loads and shocks.
Alumina (Ceramic)
Improves mechanical properties and is an excellent electrical insulator.
Graphite
Has a very low coefficient of friction, is chemically inert, provides excellent wear resistance against soft metals, and can blend with glass or carbon.
Silica
Enhances dimensional stability, improves chemical and moisture resistance, and provides thermal stability.
Carbon Fiber
Improves flexural and compressive modulus, provides high hardness and wear resistance, offers strong thermal conductivity, and is effective at lower filler percentages than glass.
Crystalline Polymers
Offer excellent wear resistance with soft metal compatibility, very low friction, maintain PTFE’s electrical and chemical resistance, are lightweight, and FDA compliant.
