Glossary


Crate ChainA generic term for CC600 chains and CC1400 chains. These are used mostly for handling of plastic crates in Dairy, Bakery and Poultry.
Flat Top Chain A plastic or steel conveyor chain with a flat top surface used for conveying of packaged products. This term is used by Dotmar/ System Plast
Knuckle ChainA generic term for tight radius side flexing conveyor chains such as our 1700 and 1701. These are commonly used in dairy and other bottle handling applications with slower line speeds than flat top chains.
Magnetic Chain and BendsFlat top chain and bends with magnets in the bends to enable the chain to run through corners.
Modular BeltA conveyor belt made of rigid plastic modules in Polyethylene, Polypropylene or Acetal.
Slat ChainA plastic or steel conveyor chain with a flat top surface used for conveying of packaged products. This term is used by Dotmar/ System Plast.
Tab Chain and BendsFlat top chain and bends with "tabs" on the underside to enable the chain to run through corners.
Timber ChainHeavy steel chains used for conveying of timber products.
